Today I’m not going to blog about my trip to BKK. I’m gonna talk about DIAMONDS! I know diamonds are girls best friend. Ask any girl! Especially the one that comes with a little blue box and a white ribbon. Splash in Audrey Hepburn glamour, this legendary brand is still showering the world with diamonds. Tiffany & Co has an unsurpassed reputation for sophisticated luxury. The jewelry is exquisite ! Girls simply ache after their diamond rings and heart shaped pendants. Well It’s Tiffany…what more can i say~
Last week I was invited to Tiffany & Co event showcasing the versatility of their bridal collection together with one of Malaysia’s popular couturier, Syaiful Baharim. It was one of those moments my heart stopped. I must say the gowns goes very well with the pieces from Tiffany and Co.
Diamonds really are girl’s best friend. Even though I don’t own anything from Tiffany & Co, but I can get by with window shopping them. Tiffany diamonds are cut for brilliance, which is a main reason why they sparkle with such intense fire and scintillation. I walk out of there needing sunglasses it was so bring and dazzling. After a visit to Tiffany’s at KLCC. I can’t stop thinking about their dazzling presence. For whoever is getting married can check out the latest Syaiful Baharim and Tiffany collection and their respective boutiques.

After the event, me and Denver decided to have lunch at Ben’s.
Loving the interior and atmosphere.
Just look at this happy boy! He really enjoys eating.
Guessing what’s in our goody bags.
Look what we got! =D
I ordered some crab salad…
and he ordered dessert.
Let’s dig in!!!
A day spend with friends is always a day well spent…XO~
Okay, so I know I’ve been slacking recently…sorry about that~ Honestly, I have so many posts that I’ve been trying to get motivation to write, but they just don’t seem to be coming together. Plus I’ve been extremely busy with my work lately. Yes, I have NO complaints and I love my job!
Anyway, back to what I supposed to blog today!
After breakfast we are off to Chatuchak Market again.
Me and the boyfriend bought some art and craft materials to paint =)
We stumbled upon this cool music instruments store.

Happily playing all the instruments~

The store owner teaching me how to play the plastic egg shaker, he also said that I’m a fast learner =)
Cool set up.
Time for some delicious food!
Yummy! mango yogurt with raisin.
Lunch time!
Original Tom Yam. The soup taste heavenly~
This is the best squid fried rice I’ve ever tasted~
Store that sells all the native american stuffs, from clothes to decorations.
I love this native american headdress so much, but it costs RM700 =(
Cari makan again~
Awesome Kebab!
Our next destination is definitely Siam Center. It’s located right opposite of Siam Paragon. Siam Center is definitely worth a visit for anyone who’s crazy about art, fashion and food. You won’t regret this! Siam Center is a shopping mall bursting with arts exhibition. If you think Publika is awesome, you should come visit this place. Your jaw will drop…trust me, mine did, so I can assure that yours will too.
Here we are at Siam Center!
Owh~Look at the lovely couple Rafiz and Kim =)
Sexy lips all over the ceiling!
I’m totally in love with the fashion designers in Thailand. All the designs are so creative and the pieces are ready-to-wear.
Happy girl with the balloon.
There’s a swimming pool in the mall?
Nah, it’s just a small karaoke lounge =)
Look how creative!
Lets just take a rest before we start shopping again.
Our eyes are wide open appreciating every details of the boutiques and cafes at every levels. One word to describe the interior here…AWESOME!!!
Carved wooden horses greet visitors at the entrance
Pretty stairs
What a huge nail polish!
Gosh I want this in my room!
How amazing! Can you believe all these made of cardboard.
It may sound like a contrast but the overall vibe of Siam Center successfully blends natural elements with high-tech facilities. In some corners you will find branches emerging from canvases and trees made from blonde wooden blocks and in others it’s all LEDs, TV screens and stairways that light up in a series of bright colours.
Greyhound Cafe
While admiring all the amazing designer boutiques, we found this pretty interesting cafe called Mr Jones Orphanage. It’s a dessert cafe that serve all things sweet. They had this toy factory kinda concept, full of teddy, train tracks going around the cafe, toy soldiers and most important of all…
The gorgeous and yumilicious looking cakes =)
We bought a piece of Red Velvet cake, and it taste so good!
After Siam Center, we crossed the street over to Siam Paragon.
Nothing interesting about this mall, the interesting part is they have luxury car showroom in the mall. Yeap! Rich people in Bangkok buy cars in the mall.
This cupcake store is interesting too!
Look at all the pretty cupcakes~
OMG! Pony Set! Almost too pretty to eat…
Best boyfriend of the year? I doubt =D.
After shopping in Siam Paragon, we made our way to Central World area for some street food.
What a great dinner.
After dinner we wrapped up the day and get a full rest!
I’ll continue our journey on Day 3 – MBK and Central World. XO~
Finally! I’m done with day 1 in Bangkok pictures~ Juggle both the blog and my full time job, while blogging is done outside of work hours, definitely not an easy thing. But it’s always best to keep busy and doing what I love.
So here goes our trip to Bangkok day 1. This trip is more like a spontaneous trip =). We didn’t even plan this until I found out that I’m actually gonna start working this April…so I thought why not go on a trip before my life get busy. Guess what, we actually bought our flight tickets and booked our hotel room like 2 days before our trip =D. Well, frankly speaking I don’t really enjoy my time in Thailand, but it was a great experience!
Off we go!
Admiring the beautiful sky~
Finally we’re in Bangkok!
Ming’s airport style =D
We took a taxi to Silom for only 300 Bht (including expressway toll)
Like I’ve said this was a spontaneous trip and we have to grabbed the hotel off the internet since we wanted to travel the next 2 days. We managed to book a room in Luxx Boutique Hotel.
On check in, the person in-charge brought us up to our room. Only drawback our room was on the top level 3 of the hotel without an elevator. Since we have no baggage, we were ok with it.
The room was tidy, clean, well fitted tv, small refrigerator and dvd player. Breakfast is pre-ordered and awesome (will show you on the next post). The lobby is welcoming with loads of dvd’s to choose, tons of magazine to read, unlimited bottled water and helpful staff.
The location is good! It’s in the midde of Silom Street so restaurant and nightlife is very near, and sky train station are very close too =).
Love the bath tub
Put our stuff down and start hunting for food!
tut-tut
That’s what we do here, walk, walk, and WALK~
And we found this makan stall that sell noodle with pork, chicken and some vegetable.
Oh-So-YUMMY
The boyfriend love this alot =)
Back to the hotel again waiting for Rafiz and Kim.
we’re at the BTS station and off we go to Chatuchack Market!
Rafiz pretending to be blind haha~
Chatuchak Weekend Market! Look at the crowd~
This is actually my 3rd time here and I’m still loving it! This is definitely a must see destinations in Bangkok, the largest weekend market. spread over 27 sections (more than 110,000 square m)This place contains more than 15,000 booths selling everything you can think of. Chatuchak Market open every weekend from 10am to 6pm. This place is HUGE!!! Trust me you won’t visit the same store twice unless you’re very familiar with the directions. So if you like something, bargain, and then buy it. Always remember to wear the most comfy clothe and bring a shopping bag when you shop here.
Look so good~
I don’t know what he’s selling, but it looks like risotto.
Vintage toys store!
Look what I found…
Coconut Ice-cream!!!
Yummy~
One of my favorite place to makan in Chatuchak Market, CHICKEN NOODLE!
This is the best chicken noodle i’ve tasted!
some weird guy walking around the market =)
Done with Chatuchak Market and off for a foot massage.
Done with 1st day of Bangkok! 4 more days to cover…I’ll update ASAP. But for now, please bare with me.
